Happy Mother's Day!
We made these adorable magnets - 4 in total - picture of student, "mom", "love" and a flower.

RETELL The Very Hungry Caterpillar
We set out a variety of different props for students to use to retell the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Can you Make a Treasure Map?

Fine Motor - Place the golf balls on the tees

Mother Mary
We learned the prayer Hail Mary and did a directed drawing of Mother Mary.

Alphabet Sort
I have a bunch of small plastic toys that are part of a large set from Wintergreen Learning.  Students sorted the objects by beginning sounds.

Subtraction Fun!
In our math blocks this week, we continued with subtraction.  We had students use the number line to help solve simple questions.  We also worked on subtraction booklets.

You can find these activities in my Subtraction in Kindergarten pack on TpT.

Alphabet Hole Punching
Using the hole punch, students had to punch the letters out - they could punch their name or letters that they chose.  It was a difficult task but they persevered!
I saw this activity on "J'adore Kinder" on Instagram and knew it would be a hit in our classroom too!
